The problem
Each branch kept its own stock list and price sheet. Head office could not see what was held where, so transfers were arranged by phone and slow-moving stock sat in one branch while another bought more of it. Month-end consolidation was a manual spreadsheet exercise.
What we built
We built a single item master with per-branch stock and per-branch price overrides, so a branch keeps its pricing authority while head office sees one consolidated position. Transfers move stock between branches as a recorded transaction rather than a phone call.
