01ERP software · Sri Lanka
Sydon Tech builds ERP systems that put sales, inventory, purchasing, accounts and reporting in one place — designed for how your business already runs, not a template you have to bend to fit. Used daily by retailers, manufacturers, distributors, restaurants and service businesses across Sri Lanka.

Most businesses do not go looking for an ERP. They go looking for a way to stop the same four problems repeating.
An ERP fixes these by recording each transaction once and letting every department read from the same record. A distribution client told us the change showed up as fewer stock shortages, fewer wrong deliveries and far fewer manual errors — which is the practical version of “integrated data”.
Start with the modules that solve the immediate problem. Add the rest when the business is ready — you are not forced to buy the whole suite on day one.
Quotations, sales orders, invoices and returns, with the pricing rules and discount approvals your team already uses.
Item master, batches, locations and reorder levels so stock on the system matches stock on the shelf.
Purchase requests, orders, GRNs and supplier payments, matched back against what was actually received.
Financial accounting wired to the same transactions as sales and purchasing, so the books are not a second data-entry job.
Customer records, history and follow-ups — either inside the ERP or alongside our CRM module.
For manufacturers: raw material issue, production runs, finished goods and wastage against a bill of materials.
Attendance, leave and payroll can run inside the same system rather than in a separate spreadsheet.
Real-time dashboards and the specific operational reports your managers ask for, not only the ones a package shipped with.
Packaged ERP is the right answer for some businesses. It is worth understanding the trade-off honestly before you commit either way.
| Packaged ERP | Custom ERP from Sydon Tech | |
|---|---|---|
| Fit to your process | You adapt your process to the software | Software is built around how you already work |
| Modules | Buy the full suite, use part of it | Start with what you need, add modules later |
| Local support | Often through a reseller or overseas queue | Direct access to the team that built your system |
| Customisation | Limited, or billed as heavy consulting | Expected — it is the delivery model |
| Licence model | Recurring per-user licensing is common | Quoted per project; discussed openly before you commit |
| Best suited to | Businesses that match the vendor’s template | Businesses with a process a template does not cover |
If your operation is a close match for an off-the-shelf product, buy the product. Customers come to us when the fit is not close: a repair workflow a retail package cannot express, a delivery process built around routes and returns, a production floor whose wastage tracking is specific to what it makes. One customer put it plainly — we did not give them a ready-made system, we studied their process and built to it.
Each of these has its own operational vocabulary, and the ERP has to speak it. These pages explain what changes per industry.
A predictable sequence, with a demo at the end of every phase so nothing is a surprise at handover.
We sit with the people who do the work — stores, sales, accounts — and document how the business actually runs today, including the workarounds.
You get a written module list, delivery phases and a fixed price before development starts. No open-ended hourly billing.
We build in phases and demo working software at the end of each one, so you can correct direction early instead of at handover.
Item masters, customers, suppliers and opening balances are migrated from your existing software or spreadsheets and reconciled before go-live.
Staff are trained on their own data. Where the risk warrants it, the new system runs in parallel with the old one until the numbers agree.
After handover we stay on for training, updates and technical questions — the part customers most often tell us other vendors dropped.
Three things come up repeatedly in what our customers write publicly.
Sydon Tech has 5+ years of delivery experience, 100+ completed projects and reviews from 25 customers on our Facebook page. We would rather you read those than take a slogan from us.
Straight answers to what buyers ask us before an ERP project starts.
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software records the core transactions of a business — sales, stock movements, purchases, payments and payroll — once, in one system, so every department works from the same data instead of separate spreadsheets. In practice it replaces the re-typing between sales, stores and accounts.
Cost depends on how many modules you need, how much of your process is non-standard, and whether data has to be migrated from an existing system. Sydon Tech quotes a fixed price per project after a free requirement study, so you see the full figure before development starts rather than an hourly estimate that moves. Contact us with your requirement for a written quotation.
Yes — customisation is the delivery model, not an add-on. We document how your business runs first, then build the modules to match. Customers regularly tell us they came to us after being offered a ready-made system that did not fit their process.
A focused implementation covering one or two areas is usually measured in weeks; a multi-department ERP with data migration and training runs longer and is delivered in phases. We give you the phase plan with the quotation, and you see working software at the end of each phase rather than only at handover.
Yes. Multi-location stock, transfers between locations and branch-level reporting are standard requirements we build for. Tell us your branch structure during the requirement study so it is scoped in from the start.
Yes. Inventory is one of the most-used modules: item masters, stock movements, transfers, adjustments and reorder levels, tied directly to sales and purchasing so the stock position reflects actual transactions.
Yes, where the other system exposes an API or a supported data exchange. We have built integrations including food-delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and PickMe for restaurant clients. Bring the integration list to the requirement study so it can be verified before it is quoted.
Yes. Migration of item masters, customers, suppliers and opening balances is part of the implementation, and is reconciled before go-live. Several of our customers moved from a previous system, including one where an earlier vendor was unable to complete the project.
Tell us how your business operates today and we will walk you through the modules that apply, then put a written scope and fixed quotation in front of you. The requirement study costs nothing.
