Promotions and multi-buy pricing across a retail chain
Promotional rules applied consistently at every till without staff remembering them.
- Central promotion rules
- Multi-buy and bundle pricing
- Date-bound activation
- Automatic application at till
The problem
Promotions were communicated on paper to each branch. Application varied by cashier, and the cost of a promotion was never measured afterwards.
What we built
We built promotion rules centrally, applied automatically at billing, with promotional discount recorded separately so its cost can be reported.
