Spare parts inventory with vehicle compatibility
Parts looked up by vehicle rather than by part number alone.
- Vehicle-to-part compatibility
- Lookup by vehicle
- Supersession and alternates
- Counter billing
The problem
Counter staff searched by part number and relied on experience to know what fitted what, so wrong parts were sold and returned regularly.
What we built
We built a compatibility model linking parts to vehicle makes, models and years, so lookup starts from the vehicle.
