Table, kitchen and billing flow for a multi-outlet restaurant
Orders moving from table to kitchen to bill without paper tickets.
- Table and order management
- Kitchen station printing
- Modifiers and special instructions
- Course timing
The problem
Orders were written on pads and carried to the kitchen. Tickets were lost, modifications were misheard, and the bill was assembled from memory of what had been sent.
What we built
We built order entry at the table that prints to the relevant kitchen station and builds the bill as it goes, so the bill is the order history rather than a reconstruction.
