The problem

Van loads were recorded on paper and settled by counting cash against remaining stock. Shortfalls were common and could not be traced to a customer or a drop.

What we built

We record the load as a stock movement to the van, each sale against a customer on the route, and settlement as a reconciliation of cash plus returns against the load.
