Consignment tracking from booking to delivery
Every consignment traceable through its handling points.
- Consignment booking
- Scan at each handling point
- Status and history
- Customer tracking lookup
The problem
Consignments were tracked on a spreadsheet updated at each depot, so a customer asking where a shipment was got an answer only as current as the last update.
What we built
We record scans at each handling point against the consignment, giving a status that reflects the last real event rather than the last manual update.
Modules delivered
- Consignment booking
- Scan at each handling point
- Status and history
- Customer tracking lookup
- Exception flagging
- Delivery confirmation
What changed
What the delivered system does differently from the process it replaced.
- Status reflects recorded handling events
- Customers look up status themselves
- Exceptions are flagged rather than discovered

Why this customer is not named
Most of our customers allow the work to be described but not their name published. Where a customer has given permission, their name and testimonial appear here.
Independent accounts of our work are published by customers themselves on our Facebook reviews page.
