Driver app for pickups, drops and proof of delivery
Drivers working from an app rather than a printed manifest.
- Live manifest
- Mid-day updates
- Signature and photo capture
- Failed attempt reasons
The problem
Manifests were printed each morning and changes during the day were phoned through, which drivers noted on the sheet and sometimes missed.
What we built
We built a driver application with the live manifest, updating when the office changes it, capturing proof at each stop.
Modules delivered
- Live manifest
- Mid-day updates
- Signature and photo capture
- Failed attempt reasons
- Offline operation
- Status back to office in real time
What changed
What the delivered system does differently from the process it replaced.
- Manifest changes reach the driver immediately
- Proof is captured at the stop
- Office sees progress without phoning
